Chunmiao Zheng is currently a professor at the University of Alabama and
a concurrent professor at Peking University. Dr. Zheng is co-author of
the textbook “Applied Contaminant Transport Modeling”, and developer of
the MT3D/MT3DMS contaminant transport models, used in over 100
countries. He is associate editor of “Ground Water” and “Hydrogeology
Journal” and a member of the U.S. National Research Council’s Committee
on Hydrologic Science. Dr. Zheng is recipient of the John Hem
Excellence in Science and Engineering Award from the National Ground
Water Association.
